Voivodeship and Municipal Public Libraries in Rzeszów is the biggest public library of podkarpackie voivodeship offering its users the rich  collection, various forms of services, numerous data basis and electronic sources.

The Library has been established on 22nd, May 1945 as the Municipal Public Library in Rzeszów.

The aim of the Library actions is to fulfill the educational, cultural and informational needs of inhabitants from the podkarpackie voivodeship and Rzeszów, and also creating the  wide range of access to the sources of educational and cultural Polish and International achievements.

WiMBP in Rzeszów show the rich activity within the cultural and educational fields organizing numerous reading events and cultural ones as well as author’s meetings, discussion clubs, book clubs, exhibitions, classes for the younger readers.
