Podkarpacka Digital Library is the biggest digital library in podkarpackie voivodeship. PBC(PDL) is a regional digital library created by several huge libraries of the region. The collections of Podkarpackia Digital Library have been systematically increased by other collections which are digitalized. There are different documents as far as publishing form is concerned: books, magazines, newspapers, occasional documents,booklets, cartography, graphic documents, notes and others within the collection of the digital software repository. PBC (PDL ) registers the manuscript and printed entries. The vast majority are the old publications, issued before 1939, in case of which the material copyrights have finished. There are also later texts, whose authors agreed for publication of digital copies of their works in Podkarpacka Digital Library – these are mainly PhD thesis and publications of Universities.

We are open to new participants of the project – huge, average and small libraries, universities and other institutions having the book collections that are worth digitalizing and online availability. We count on PBC (PDL) development, thanks to new collections and project partners. |
